Simon Zaleski, musician

Greetings! I am an instrumentalist and composer, also known as "Beagle Music Labs," based in Durham, NC. Please browse my website to find samples of my work and opportunities to purchase sheet music. If you are looking for a composer, please check out my demo reel(s) and portfolio and contact me to discuss your project.

In August 2020, I started using the stage name "Beagle Music Labs" for some of my music (especially electronic music), and continue to release electronic, synthwave, and synth-pop on Apple, Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming services as well as on my personal SoundCloud page.

GameSoundCon 2021 took place online from Nov. 8-10 this year, and I greatly enjoyed attending the webinars and meeting other game audio folks there, in the forums, and on Altspace.

As a member of Carolina Contemporary Composers {c3}, I continue to premiere new concert music. Our fall 2021 concert will be at the Halle Cultural Arts Center in Apex, NC on Nov. 21, and will feature two new piano solos of mine alongside the work of my colleagues.

I will be performing music by Josquin des Prez and John Coprario on treble viola da gamba with the UNC Consort of Viols on Dec. 3.

I have written music this year for two completed visual novels and two more under development! Visit my profile on to download the games, and look for the OST's on my SoundCloud page!

Game Jams are a fantastic way to meet other creatives and developers, and I enjoyed participating in Global Game Jam 2020 and 2021 in Raleigh, as Beagle Music Labs! I've put some of my game jam music, most of it created in a super-compressed timeframe, here. I have also participated in multiple online game jams this year, which have led to some longer projects.

I am also excited to have joined a community of video game music (VGM) cover artists/remixers called Pixel Mixers! You can find my VGM covers on my SoundCloud and YouTube pages as well as on Pixel Mixers' page, where the music is also available for free download.
